Every ground masala pack shows a grind date and best-before date. Whole spices are sourced in small lots so they don't sit in storage for long.

Bread and buns are best eaten within 2–3 days; biscuits, rusk and wafers keep for weeks when sealed. Check the printed date on every pack.
